Collier County Quick Facts
Collier County Arrest Search Portal
The Collier County Sheriff's Office runs a dedicated arrest search portal on its website. This is the main tool for checking 24 hour booking activity in the county. You can search by name, date range, or other fields. The system holds records from January 1, 2016 to the present. That gives you roughly ten years of arrest data in one place, which is more than most Florida counties offer through a free online tool.
Each record on the portal shows the person's name, arrest date, charges, and other key facts. The data comes straight from the sheriff's booking system. Results load in a table that you can sort and scroll through. It works on phones and computers. No login is needed. No fee is charged for basic searches.
The sheriff's office does note that the portal is not a substitute for a formal public records request under Florida Statute 119.07. If you need certified copies or detailed reports, you should contact the Central Records Bureau at 239-252-0637 or email records@colliersheriff.org. The online tool is great for quick lookups, but it may not have every piece of data that a full records request would produce.

Collier County 24 Hour Booking Process
Collier County operates two jail facilities. The main one is in Naples at 3319 Tamiami Trail East, FL 34112. There is also a facility in Immokalee. When someone gets arrested anywhere in the county, they are taken to one of these locations for booking. The process includes recording the person's name, date of birth, and physical features. Photos and fingerprints are taken. Charges are logged. All of this creates the booking record.
The sheriff's office is the primary law enforcement agency for the county. Naples Police and other local agencies also make arrests that end up in the county jail. Every booking goes into the same system, so the arrest search portal captures all of them regardless of which agency made the arrest.
Under Section 901.243 of Florida law, anyone who is booked has the right to make phone calls within a reasonable time. The jail staff must allow this. It is part of the booking process that applies in every county across the state.
Collier County Records and Florida Public Access Law
Florida's Sunshine Law makes most government records open to the public. Booking data falls under this rule. Section 119.011 lays out what counts as a public record, and arrest and booking info clearly qualifies. You do not have to explain why you want the data. You do not have to be a Collier County resident. The law gives access to everyone.
Some records are exempt. Section 119.071 lists categories that can be withheld. Sealed records, expunged cases, and juvenile bookings will not show up on the public portal. Certain victim details are also protected. But the standard adult booking record in Collier County is public and viewable by anyone.
Keep in mind that the portal shows arrests, not convictions. Being booked does not mean a person is guilty. The court system decides that later. Charges can be dropped, reduced, or result in an acquittal. The booking record stays, but it should not be taken as proof that someone did something wrong.
The Collier County Sheriff's Office main site has additional info about their programs, fugitive warrants (call 239-252-9655), and media inquiries (239-252-0604).
Statewide Tools for Collier County Booking Searches
Beyond the county portal, the FDLE offers statewide criminal history checks. The FDLE Criminal History portal costs $24 per search under Section 943.053. It pulls records from every county in Florida, not just Collier. This is useful when you need a broader picture.
The Florida Department of State directory lists jail search tools for all 67 counties. Collier County is included. If the direct link to the CCSO portal ever changes, this directory is a good backup.
For quick 24 hour booking checks in Collier County, the local arrest search tool is the way to go. It is free and has a deep archive. Use the FDLE when you need statewide data.
